As a general rule, anyone can visit our online stores and view our professional services without ever registering or revealing their identity UNTIL the moment of an actual purchase. When you drop an item into the Shopping Cart, you will be prompted to log in unless you have already done so some time during your visit - once per visit is all it takes. We use your e-mail address as the ID, along with a password of your choice.
Navigation:
Getting around in our shopping network, in general, is as easy as clicking on either a navigation bar or selecting a category. This takes you to products and services listed for sale in the store.
You may also use the search function (if available) to search for a specific product or service.
SYSTEM HELP
If you're experiencing any problems browsing our store(s) or purchasing an item, please report the difficulty immediately by e-mailing your inquiry to webmaster@ec-t.com and our technical staff will contact you with a solution. We are ALWAYS looking for valid technical feedback that will help keep our stores excellent online shopping venues and leading sites on the Internet.
Generally speaking, our stores and have been designed to support multiple versions of Web browsers on different platforms. Whether you're using Netscape Navigator 3.0 on Windows 95, MS Internet Explorer 4.0 on Mac OS, or Navigator 4.0 on Windows NT or more up-to-date versions, the stores should be operational. However, we recommend you to upgrade your browser to the latest version from either Microsoft website or Netscape website. Certain features such as Java and Web-page frame are not supported by some of the early versions of the browsers.
For your convenience, the stores and have been designed for maximum visual appeal when viewed full-screen with a resolution of 800x600, which is the standard display mode for a 15" monitor.
STORE POLICIES
Q. Can I return an item? How?
A. Yes, some merchandise may be returned within 14 days of your merchandise's shipping date. Items must be in as-new condition, in original packaging with the packing slip. There will be a $35.00 re-boxing fee for merchandise returned in a damaged box.
For a period of 14 days from the date of the item's shipment date, you will receive store credit less a 15% restocking fee or USD$20, whichever is greater, to cover the costs of inventory management. Just contact our customer service department at returns@ec-t.com and you will be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by e-mail. Print out the RMA and attach it to the package you are shipping. NO returns of any type will be accepted without an RMA number. For faster service, please include the following information when emailing for an RMA number: customer name, invoice number, serial number and nature of the problem.
The return shipment, as is customary in such cases, is at the buyer's expense (please insure your shipment. In case the item is damaged during the return shipment, the shipping company can cover the loss; otherwise it will be your sole responsibility). Therefore, all non-merchandise-related fees (shipping, transaction and insurance) are not refundable - but if merchandise arrives damaged: it is best to REFUSE it back to the carrier attempting delivery. Refused or undeliverable shipments will be subject to a restocking fee of 15% or USD$20, whichever is greater, to cover our costs of inventory management.
All merchandise returned MUST: be 100 percent complete, contain ALL original boxes and packing materials, have original UPC codes on the manufacturer boxes, and contain all manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer.
Opened laser printers, inkjet printers and fax machines may be exchanged within 14 days of your product's shipping date, for the same item only. No refunds are available for these items, if opened.
Opened Software, Music, Video, and Wireless products may be exchanged within 14 days of your product's shipping date, for the same item only. No refunds are available for these items, if opened.
Notice: Since this shopping cart serves multiple stores and the return policy (if any) of a given store or a given item shall overwrite the above general terms and conditions. For example, if a store indicates, "All sales are final," it means none of the store items are returnable. If an item is marked as "Final Sales" or the item is put for auction, the item is non-returnable.
Q. In what form will my money be refunded?
A. Your refund will be in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.
Q. What is the expected delivery for items purchased from the store online?
A. Since the product(s) you brought may be shipped to you from overseas and may be on back order, e-Commerce Technology, Inc. cannot guarantee the delivery date of the product(s). However, in general, orders are shipped within 10 business days.
Q. When will my credit card actually be charged?
A. When you place an order from one of our stores and/or our website, you have authorized us to charge your card for the price you committed during your shopping process. However, you will either get no charge to your card or receive a full refund back to your card if the product(s) you ordered can't be delivered or the services required can't be performed.
Q. Why are the dimensions of an item specified in the store different from the actual dimensions of an item I just received?
A. The dimensions and weight indicated in the online catalog may not be exact.
Conditions of Use
eC-T provides their products and services to you, subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop at any of the eC-T Online Stores, or its customer stores (the "Stores") you accept these conditions. eC-T reserves the right to make changes to the Store Policy, at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
Electronic Communications
When you visit, shop at the Stores or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You hereby consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices at the Stores. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. eC-T take no responsibility if an e-mail sent to you is rejected or put in the junk mail box.
Risk of Loss
All items purchased from the Stores are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Products Descriptions & Pricing
The Stores attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, the Stores do not warrant that product descriptions, price or other content on the Stores is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If you purchase a product offered by any of the Stores and the product itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. eC-T cannot completely confirm the price or availability or shipping/handling cost of an item for sale in the Stores until you actually order it. After receiving your order, we will verify all prices, product availabilities, and shipping/handling charges for your order. If the cost to you exceeds the amount that you committed during your shopping process, eC-T will, at its own discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order.
Privacy
Please review the eC-T Privacy Policy and Legal Statement, which also governs your visit the Stores, to understand our practices.
Product warranty
Since some products are provided by our suppliers, wherein eC-T may not be an authorized reseller directly for some of the manufacturers, eC-T is not responsible for those products' warranties. However, eC-T will assist you by providing you with necessary phone numbers (if any) for you to contact the manufacturers or our suppliers.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The merchandise in our Stores is provided by eC-T on an "As Is" and "As Available" basis and eC-T makes no representations or
warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Stores or the information, content, materials, or products included in the Stores.
You hereby agree that your use of the Stores is at your sole risk and that eC-T will not be held liable for any damages of any kind, for any reason,
arising from the use of the Stores, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential, incidental and punitive damages.
eC-T'S LIABILITY UNDER THIS STORE POLICY FOR DAMAGES WILL NOT, IN ANY EVENT, EXCEED THE REPLACEMENT OF THE MERCHANDISE OR THE FEE PAID BY THE SHOPPER TO eC-T UNDER THIS PLOICY.
The provisions of this Section allocate risks under this policy between the shopper and eC-T. eC-T's pricing of the services reflects this allocation of risks and limitation of liability.
Special Policy Regarding Custom-Made Purchases such as Fortune Cookies, Dog Fortune Cookies and Printing Items
As these merchandises are generally custom made and not reusable. Such purchases can not be returned, cancelled, exchanged or refunded. Orders cannot be cancelled.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. eC-T does not proof read or make any changes to the text or graphics and is not liable for typing or design errors
submitted by its shoppers and/or customers. eC-T does reserve the right to adjust spacing to fit.
Special Note Concerning Herbs
The information contained in www.HerbProductStore.com is for your reference only. eC-T does not take responsibility for this content or
make any claims as to its veracity. The store does not offer or try to offer any medical advice or alternatives. All products are purchased and consumed
at the shopper's risk. eC-T assumes all shoppers have consulted their doctors before making any decisions regarding their health and take all herbs as directed by their doctors.
Disputes and Applicable Law
By visiting the Stores, you agree that the laws of the state of California, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern this Store Policy and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and eC-T. Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to the Stores or to products you purchase through the Stores shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in the State of California. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
